A PETITIONING PRAYER CARRIES ITS POWERS A LIFETIME

Prayer a solemn request, earnest hope or wish for help or an expression of thanks addressed to God or an object of worship. Prayer is a ("service that is in the heart"). An evolving means of interacting with God, most frequently through a spontaneous, individual, unorganized form of petitioning and/or thanking. The act of praying is a method of changing a situation for the better.

If the prayer to God is to protect my family or others the request is equivalent to planting a seed that finds its own life sustaining properties to exist. Even after death a petition asking God for a favor will still remain when the request involves others.
