Eve of destruction, tax deduction, City

inspectors, bill collectors, Evolution, revolution,… and the only thing on the mind of the Evangelicals is abortions. The world is suffering from blood and treasure, “lives and money”, the high price of war to conquer. As an example: World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history. An estimated total of 70–85 million people perished, which was about 3% of the 1940 world population (est. 2.3 billion). The year 1968 became the deadliest of the Vietnam War for Americans suffering 16,592 killed compared to around two hundred thousand of the communist forces killed. At least 108 million people were killed in wars in the twentieth century.

In total, 862,320 abortions took place in 2017 at health-care facilities. On the average about 1,000,000 abortions a year. These numbers are concerning. For the Evangelicals to bestow so much attention on abortions and ignore war seems to be counterintuitive to the overall welfare of human life. Maybe by conviction somebody has to do it and be responsive to a mainstream event like abortion but a religious organizations shouldn't choose an a la carte righteousness menu. I'll take this or that.

The world is going to hell in a handbasket but babies, to be more specific white babies, are getting all the attention in a bassinet. Let's cut to the chase, and come to the point of why it is a major topic among evangelicals. Deaths now outnumber births among white people in more than half the states in the country, demographers have found what could be a faster-than-expected transition to a future in which whites are no longer a majority of the American population. It is not about salvation but strictly a political move to maintain power in the future.
