The R&B philosopher Sly Stone once said:

"Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong

My own beliefs are in my song The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then Makes no difference what group I'm in I am everyday people, yeah yeah There is a blue one who can't accept the green one For living

with a fat one trying to be a skinny one And different strokes for different folks And so on and so on and scooby dooby doo Oh sha sha we got to live together I am no better and neither are you We are the same whatever we do You love me you hate me you know me and then You can't figure out the bag I'm in I am everyday people, yeah yeah" Just because people are singers, actors, doctors and lawyers they are everyday people with the capability of doing anything. I heard gospel singer Donnie Mcclurkin reference the old creed, you are innocent until proven guilty, in reference to R Kelly. Although the presumption of innocence is the legal principle that one is considered innocent unless proven guilty. To Donnie and others declare your personal beliefs as citizens and influencers of society don't wait on the courts to influence you, that is a cop out to "avoid doing something that one ought to do." People like Donnie Mcclurkin needs to declare guilty or innocents of Kelly and others based upon their own empirical study and not relying exclusively on the court. Let me give you a reason. Birmingham 16th street Baptist church bombing. They were all white and assumed innocent by the court. Central park 5 were all Black and assumed guilty by the court.
