FROM PAINT TO INK MEMORIES FLOURISH FOR KOBE AND GIGI
The Civil Writer Magazine
Rhonda and I spent our 2-1-2020 weekend in LA to be a part of the Kobe Bryant memorializing throughout the city. No memories were spared and no ink unturned whether on flowers, balloons, posters, memorabilia, candles, tee shirts, hoodies, murals, newspapers or post cards.
From the Staples center, to Boyle Heights, to Figurora street, etc. People came out to pay their condolences to the man who put the Staples center on the Map after Kareem, Magic, Worthy and even after Shaq. The man who carried the NBA torch after Michael and Magic.
Purple everywhere whether the purple paint, ink and lights are a holdover from Prince LA is well prepared.
