IF A BARN IS CONVERTED INTO A CHURCH DOES THE BARN BECOMES SACRED

In the Bible the word"church" is used to refer to the people of God rather than to a particular building. Christians believe that when they meet together as church, wherever that may be, God is present with them. For Jesus says, in Matthew 18:20,"where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.

If you make a barn into a church when does the barn becomes a sacred building. Does it become sacred once a pulpit is brought in, when a sermon is preached, when a cross is erected or a Bible is read?

Early Christians often met in people’s homes as a temporary church, does that home trump the barn as a church?

In its magnificent glory a building of brick and mortar or marble has no significance to God but the people in it does. As sacred as the temples of Jerusalem and their ominous rules and being dedicated or set apart for the service or worship of Jehovah; on two occasions the temples were destroyed. Once by the army of

Nebuchadnezzar, the Babylonian king and by Roman legions under Titus destroyed much of Jerusalem and the Second Temple.

If one person enters a church it becomes sacred, it is that person who makes the church sacred. Sacred doesn't mean protected but that the worshipers are the image of God, “Let us make man in our image” (( Genesis 1:26)) The church whether a barn or home only have an earthly value and no sacredness, if they are sacred, there are many churches destroyed in war torn countries that would have been sacred.
