IF JESUS APPROVED OF DRINKING WINE HE WOULD HAVE APPROVED SOMKING MARIJUANA

Most drugs today, legal and otherwise, are synthesized in a laboratory. But most medical and recreational drugs originally began in the wild, growing naturally in forests, fields, and deserts. Many opioids and Marijuana can naturally be taken from the earth and used. There is a great possibility that Jesus used these natural drugs when he had pain that developed from walking or from a cold.

The New Testament has established that wine is worth drinking but you have to consider the times of Jesus when water wasn't as clean as it is today being streams, rivers and lakes served as all purpose water supply for livestock, washing and animals. During Jesus's time the limitation of drugs, alcohol or tobacco, was most likely by religious law as a means to prevent the recreational overuse of certain intoxicating substances although there are no references to opium, Marijuana and tobacco.

If Jesus approved of alcohol he would have approved opioids and Marijuana. Why are they here in the first place but to be used by humans because animals have no use for opioids and Marijuana. Scientists have speculated for decades that animals naturally synthesize morphine because specialized receptors in the brain respond to the drug. Besides, many of these chemicals the human body produces. The body's system of pain control for acute injuries involves the release of natural opioid compounds, such as enkephalins

and endorphins, that bind receptors in the spinal cord to suppress the transmission of pain signals to the brain. The reason these natural drugs are taboos is because the government struggles to receive revenue off of them. Alcohol was once treated like drugs and prohibited until taxes were added to create revenue. Marijuana is less destructive than Vodka, Rum and other alcoholic beverages. Alcohol kills 88,000/year in the U.S. It's not even a medicine. No one has died from cannabis—ever.

So, why wouldn't Jesus approve of Marijuana.
