IS EMPIRICALISM BETTER THAN SCRIPTURES
The Civil Writer Magazine
Empirical evidence is the information received by means of the senses, particularly by observation and documentation of patterns and behavior through experimentation. Capable of being verified or disproved.
Scriptures are religious texts that are related to a religious tradition. They differ from literary texts (entertainment) by being a compilation of beliefs, mythologies, ritual practices, commandments or laws and ethical conduct. Scriptures are words that are thousands of years old trying to fit modern day events.
Is it academically sound to apply trust in ancient history that is not solidified with evidence. If God moved mountains 3000 years ago shouldn't that same God move mountains today and provide the same empirical evidence that existed 3000 years ago.
