PRO-BLACK MEN WHO DATE OR MARRY WHITE DO LOSE CREDIBILITY
The Civil Writer Magazine
What is a pro-Black man is it his consciousness or an act. Is it being black all day every day. Pro-Black - is a lifestyle that encourages the economic growth and development of black people as a whole with a purpose of increasing the wealth and population of black people around the world. Whether it be spending money with black own business in your communities or online. Promoting love for black people and encouraging black youth is the soul purpose of a pro-Black man to keep uplifting black people in America to be proud. Pro-Black doesn't mean anti-white it is simply a credibility problem to marry white.
Can you be pro anything (as in proclaim, proceed); and be partially suited for the task. Can You be a pro-footballer in a NBA uniform. Certainly it looks out of place and create some pains along the way but you are not fulfilling the proclamation. Whether it is talking about the horrible police brutality attacks on innocent Black people or racism it’s good to see people show concern for the victims by using their voices to address the racial problems in America but does that require a pro-Black title or a concern citizen.
They say, you cannot help who you fall in love with. And that is true but you can control the process if you enter a servitude of blackness. But can you be pro-Black and married to a white woman. It seems to be a phenomenon only in the Black culture. Because pro-Whites that support or favour white causes would not marry a Black person.
I would likely say you are Black and not pro-Black if you have a desire for dating or marrying white. If Dr. Martin Luther King jr. had married his white college friend how would you identify his proclamation for blackness, and would he lose all credibility. How can you play basketball with a bat. You can't without losing credibility.
Is it going through the motions but not being credible to be in a mixed marriage or relationship. Regardless of who you marry or date you are Black, that will not change and you can be involved with civil rights but your personal life doesn't have that credibility. I feel there are four pillars to being pro-Black, being Black, a voice to uplift blacks, black love, Black lifestyle. If a Black man can be pro-Black can a white woman be pro-Black for dating or marrying a Black man.
Nkechi Amare Diallo, born and still commonly known as Rachel Anne Dolezal an American multimedia artist and former civil rights activist known for claiming to be a black woman while being of European ancestry and having no known African ancestry but she covers three of the pillars for being pro-Black, 1. a voice to uplift blacks, 2. black love, 3. Black lifestyle, but not Black.
A Black man dating or marrying white covers three pillars as well, 1. being Black, 2. a voice to uplift blacks, 3. Black lifestyle, but no black love to marry white.
