A general rule intended to regulate behavior or thoughts is that God's residency is in an

Abbey, Bethel, Basilica, Church, Cathedral, Temple, Synagogue, Mosque, Shrine, or Chapel. Those places are no more holier than a barn. God does not establish those places as his residence, that's where you bring him.

A sense of loss pervaded the reactions, especially for the works of art and historical artifacts inside the cathedral built over two centuries and completed in 1345. It contained relics, priceless stained-glass rose windows and other prizes of France’s long Catholic history. It survived the French Revolution and two world wars.

God is not there or any place until you come in. Of all the works of art and historical artifacts none of it has a Genesis story like the occupiers and none of it has a God but man.
