In the Christian religion there are proverbs or teachings that are autonomous to the Christian faith such as Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride that are questionable as sins because they are not mentioned in the either Testaments as sins and are questionable at best as to whether they would have world jurisdiction or just denominational jurisdiction like homosexuality with the children of Israel.
