The Civil Writer Magazine
Whose image is this? Is it fair to say that these images are those of a robust African woman? In different parts of the world, figurines depicting images of robust women have been found, representing goddesses who duplicate the robust figure of an African woman. Black goddesses, sacred ancestors, and holy queens have peopled Africa from Egypt in the north to Zimbabwe in the south. It is highly likely that Black people's God was in the image of a Black woman.
