For those born before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 the landmark civil rights and labor law in the United States that outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin, should get reparations in the form of a social security annuity. An annuity is a financial product that pays out a fixed stream of payments to an individual, primarily used as an income stream for retirees.

Although there is no calendar year when the tentacals of Jim crow stopped discriminating; we know that the 1960s has to be considered a time for the prevalent end of its reach by law. Therefore the descendants of slaves up to the year of 1964 are supported during their retirement.

If reparation is the means to justify making amends for slavery and those who suffered under those conditions are no longer here then it makes sense for those who lived under extenuating circumstances, although they've suffered less, be awarded reparation for retirement being their pursuit of happiness is dawning.

There has to be a demarcation for the pains of slavery and Jim crow rather than an indiscriminate handout to those who were fully protected under the law and Jim Crow being a history story.
