YOU CAN MAKE THE MOUNTAINS RING OR MAKE THE ANGELS CRY
The Civil Writer Magazine
The death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter covered two emotions. Kobe reached the mountain top of accomplishments and has rung the bells of the mountains. But more importantly his selflessness has shown more concern for the unreported needs and wishes of others than with himself.
His daughter Gigi made the Angels cry because of her short life but had the potential of being a major contributor to society even if the path was through sports. They both were the dreams of Dr. King "I have a dream that one day little black boys and girls will be holding hands with little white boys and girls."
Through death people come alive. Through concealed love and charities he silently gave. The millions he made were distributed to a nation of the sick, homeless and distraught and unlike a Pharisee "but do not do according to their works; for they say, and do not do.” (Matthew 23:3)" Kobe didn't say but did the works of a philanthropist. The mountains are ringing their bells and the angels are crying because God has said come home my good and faithful servants.
